1. Mazda3 (MSRP from $21,500)

Mazda3 comes with impressive looks and handling. That 2020 mazda3 comes in a sedan and hatchback flavor. The sedan is the least expensive, even though the price exceeds $ 20,000. This Japanese car comes with a 2.5-liter Skyactive engine that generates 186 hp and a standard 6-speed auto trans.

Meanwhile, the basic trim level has alloy wheels, LED lights, air conditioning, keyless entry, start button, cruise control, eight-point eight-inch display for infotainment systems, and rearview cameras. Front-wheel-drive is standard. But you can get the all-wheel-drive option, even though it’s unusual but is welcomed in a compact car and is very useful if you live in a region full of snow.

2. 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback (MSRP from $20,920)

With an attractive appearance and positive impression, the latest generation Corolla Hatchback is a big step forward compared to its predecessor. If you know, older Corollas are generally known for their bulletproof reliability and the sporty feel of earlier models. This latest generation Corolla succeeded, somehow uniting everything that an ordinary man or woman needed, a reliable mechanical drive, right equipment, and an attractive price.

Even the cheapest trim level comes as standard with alloy wheels and an eight-inch touch screen. The infotainment system includes Apple Carplay and Android Auto. There is a 2-liter engine with 168 horsepower available at all levels of the hatchback trim.

If you need the trunk to carry more stuff, there is a sedan version you can order with a hybrid powertrain automatic climate control, remote keyless entry push-button start, split-folding rear seat, and 17 points 8 cubic feet. All come as standard, so it’s pretty good if you ask me.

3. 2020 Honda Civic (MSRP from $19,750)

The best affordable new cars would not be complete without the extraordinary old Civic from Honda. The 10th generation model has better technology than before. Even the most affordable trim offers a set of healthy safety features called Honda Sensing. This package is equipped with adaptive cruise control, Lane Keeping Assist,  traffic signs recognition, and automatic braking.

Amazingly, it’s all included in a car that costs just under $ 20,000. Not only that, because you will also get a rearview camera, AC, LED daylight, automatic high beam, and a sound system with four speakers with a total of 160 watts. The standard engine is a 2-lt 158-hp unit that is connected with a six-speed manual trans.

If you want Apple Carplay and Android to be automatic, you have to use a sport trim with a seven-inch touch screen for infotainment systems, leather-wrapped steering, keyless entry with push-button start, fog lights, and split-fold rear bench seats. There is enough space inside the trunk with volumes up to 15.1 cubic feet to store your kinds of stuff.

4. Nissan Frontier (MSRP from $19,090)

The only pickup on our list because why not everybody needs an urban commuter. Maybe some of you are looking for a cheap work truck. So, the frontier isn’t correctly brand new, with the first variation of this model rolling out the assembly lines in 2004.

Available in all sorts of configurations from a king cab to a double cab with an extended bed. The most affordable 2019 Nissan Frontier offers a 2.5-liter engine that makes 152 horsepower, two-wheel-drive, a 5-speed manual trans, a King Cab, a 7-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, cruise control, and air conditioning as standard.

Other than that, there’s a lot to choose from, so the prices vary from under $20,000-$37, 000. You can opt for a 4 liter V6 that makes 261 horsepower, a crew cab, an extended bed, 4-wheel drive, and an automatic transmission. Among others, it’s not exactly very roomy inside, but it’s rugged, and it should meet your needs.

5. 2020 Hyundai Elantra (MSRP from $18,950)

Maybe a 4-door sedan without a lot of frills won’t make you smile, but it will get your job done. The 2-liter inline-four engine produces 147 horsepower as standard and an affordable price of under $ 20,000, and you can’t forget it. Elantra has dual Bluetooth zones, automatic air conditioning, keyless entry, and rearview cameras at no additional cost. Cool, this is one of the few cars in this price segment that offers automatic gearboxes as standard.

So that’s something to consider if you stay in an area full of traffic. The extra $ 800 gives you a seven-inch touch screen for infotainment systems, Apple Carplay and Android automatic, automatic lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and blind-spot warnings. While the most expensive trim comes with 201 horsepower, 1.6-liter engine, LED lights and full rear lights, independent suspension around him, and leather in the seat.

6. 2020 Volkswagen Jetta (MSRP from $18,895)

Jetta is the latest generation that comes in various flavors. With a tight budget, this might be the right car for you. This German sedan stream comes with a 1.4 lt turbocharged engine that generates 174 horsepower and 6-speed manual automatic transmission. Meanwhile, LED daytime running, LED taillights, and 16 inches alloy wheels come as standard.

If you compare it to Corolla, then Jetta only gets Bluetooth audio and AC manual in speed. The good news is the initial price is slightly lower than the Corolla hatchback. But if you have extra cash to spend, you can choose a bigger size with Jetta GLI, which starts at under $ 26,000. This sporty family carrier has a two-liter turbo engine like the Golf GTI, which is capable of producing 228 horsepower. So, there are many choices here if you decide to get a new Jetta.

7. 2020 Nissan Kicks (MSRP $18,870)

Despite its SUV appearance, a compact hatchback, but even so, an urban driver could appreciate its slightly higher seating position and more bold looks. With a price of under $19,000, it looks like a great deal to consider. It comes as standard with a 7-inch nice touchscreen, Bluetooth, and a rearview camera. But even though you get a touchscreen, it doesn’t offer Android Auto as well as Apple Carplay at the most affordable trim level.

So you have to upgrade to the next level, which will set you back an extra $1,700. A 1.6-liter engine motivates with 122 horsepower made it to a constantly variable gear that delivers power to the front wheels. Cruise control, air conditioning, and remote keyless entry with push-button start are offered as standard.

8. Subaru Impreza (MSRP from $18,695)

With a ton of racing heritage in its background, the Impreza comes as standard with all-wheel-drive on all trim levels. You can choose from a sedan or hatchback and oddly enough. Anyway, the sedan type is a bit cheaper, although it’s slightly more prominent. A 2-liter four-cylinder boxer engine that makes 152 horsepower is mated to a standard 5-speed manual transmission.

The CVT automatic is available as an optional extra. While manually adjustable air conditioning, cruise control, Android Auto, and Apple Carplay come at no extra cost, on even the cheapest option as well as a 6.5-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. The sedan has 12.3 cubics ft of cargo volume in the trunk while the hatchback comes with 20.8 cubics ft of capacity in the back.

9.  2020 Hyundai Veloster (MSRP from $18,600)

It’s one of the most desirable ones. I think again it’s almost $20,000. But it comes to 147 horsepower, pretty cute. If you do want the loud commuting, the six-speed manual, we’re talking a thousand dollars extra. The velocity best comes with a 2.0 included the 7o screen with Apple Carplay and android. Also, it comes with 17-inch rims, and this one looks a little sporty, so some people might want to go this one instead.

10. 2020 KIA Soul (MSRP from $18,485)

If you remember, the first generation of Kia Soul has a real funky style. But the new KIA Soul is a bit more mature but still looks trendy with prices starting under $ 18,000. Perfect money for a new car, especially when many people think it comes with a lot of standard equipment.

A 7-inch touch screen for infotainment systems, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, automatic light control, manually controlled air conditioners, and a 10-year warranty. As the most basic trim, Soul comes with a 2-liter inline-four engine that makes 147 hp plus a manual 6-speed trans that sends power to the front wheels.

Also, there is a choice of a 1.6-liter engine with 201 horsepower and a 7-speed dual-clutch trans and a fully electric version that will come in 2020.

11. 2020 Kia Forte FE (MSRP from $17,890)

This car has about 147 horsepower, of course, they’re all standard.  You can get the $800 CVT for the best EPA rate for fuel. So you can add packages or gas, but we’re talking that regular price.

We’re talking at 31 City 41 miles per gallon highway, so that is pretty nice. Again if you’re looking for a top 10-20-20 car, that is good, and you can use it for your daily under $20,000, and that is not bad at all.

12. 2020 Honda Fit (MSRP from $17,120)

Honda Fit may be one of the smaller cars on our list. But with prices starting from over $16,000, it’s also one of the most affordable. Just do not think that because of its small size and price, Honda Fit has no essential features.

Conversely, the list of standard equipment includes a 1.5-liter engine that creates 130 hp, a manual 6-speed trans, an excellent 2nd-row magic seat, a Bluetooth USB audio interface, and manually controlled air-conditioning.

The extra $2,000 brings you a 7-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, Apple Carplay, also Android Auto integration, and a Keyless entry with a push-button start inside. There is room for four adults, and it’s more of a city car than a road trip vehicle. But it should be suitable for everyday travel and the legendary reliability of Honda will always make you more comfortable.

13. 2020 Chevrolet Sonic (MSRP from $16,720)

With the new features and style of the Chevrolet Sonic, this car strengthens its position as a fun, efficient small vehicle and applies the latest technology. With all the prices are quite affordable, so this is an essential segment for Chevrolet. They wanted to introduce the car to new buyers and show them everything about Sonic. I don’t know how you guys feel about the Sonic, but again the base price of Chevrolet Sonic is pretty reasonable.

14. 2019 Toyota Yaris (MSRP from $16,370)

The Toyota Yaris sedan has a length of 155.50 inches. But it does wear the bowtie owner, you know grill, so as you can see, there are so many cars out now that look the same. The Chevy Blazer, to me, looks like an expensive model of the Yaris.

That’s just my personal opinion, but I just needed to bring you guys this information again; this is the 2019 model. So it should have the same deal as of 2020, but the base price is at 16,000. I think we’re getting lower every time, so let’s move to the next one.

15. 2020 Kia Rio (MSRP from $15,750)

This car didn’t make the car of the year final round for the last couple of years. The 2020 model does get you to know outstanding upgrades every time a vehicle grows, and it gets better. This car has an automatic transmission, FWD, and the new CVT. They haven’t you know test-driven it too much. So I haven’t found many sources on that. But I just wanted to bring you guys into the circle of how much this car runs. But again, these are like V4 and V6, and this one I do believe has 120 horsepower, but it’ll still get the job done.

16. 2020 Nissan Versa (MSRP from $14,730)

This car is the best-selling subcompact that returns for 2020. So, this car is pretty good. The 2020 Nissan Versa has power doors locks and windows that touch up and touch down controls on the driver side like any other car. If you do want the CVT in this one, it is $16,000. But like I said, we’re talking about affordable prices, and this one makes the top 10 list for me.

17. 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage (MSRP from $13,995)

Alright, this is one of the cheapest cars in 2020. I mean come on you got a subcompact 2020 Mirage 4 door or hatch. Pretty good on mileage, we’re looking at 33 City 41 mile miles per gallon on the interstate. But those can change you have 36 cities 43. If you do the CVT, I think I need one of these. But you got to understand it is 78 horsepower. This car you probably have to get out and push up the hill.

18. 2020 Chevy Spark (MSRP from $13,220)

Yes, it is a small car, the smallest car serving as an entry to the brand. It is a spark hatchback 2020, includes a 7-inch screen, Apple Carplay, android capabilities, of course, which isn’t bad at all. It does come in different packages like the LS and an LT. If you guys know Chevy, of course, we’ve got LS, LT, LTZ different packages. But this car is small, it’s cute, and it gets the job done.

That’s the list of Cheapest Brand New Cars in America that you can use as a reference. Hopefully, it can assist you in finding the latest cars at affordable prices that you want.
